Blurb is a contemporary literature publication that highlights the work of
experimental writers who ‘blur’ the lines of what writing is.

FINAL WORDMARK
 Heavy, simple, and  grounded typeface
• Emphasis on ‘blur’ through extension of 'r' to represent                                 aforementioned blurring of lines, and also conveys motion
• Typeface feels young and gender-neutral
 • Much more approachable and less formal looking than many literary publications

PROPOSAL FOR TYPE STANDARDS + IMAGERY
IMAGERY:
abstract forms/colors that imply a mood for the written work
 • letting readers imagine things for themselves; creating a space that encourages personal creativity and is open for interoperation.
• avoid using straightforward images (if any, just partial or distorted to create abstraction)
• less emphasis on physical & material,  more on emotional
 •  intentional color usage, leaning into meanings
